Terms

The fair deal.
In plain words.

No traps, no clever clauses. Here's what you can expect from Dew, and the few things we ask in return. Last revised May 2026.

Dew is not medical advice

Dew predicts your cycle from the dates you log — that's an estimate, not a diagnosis. It isn't a contraceptive, a fertility treatment, or a substitute for a doctor. For anything that matters to your health, talk to a professional. Predictions can be wrong, especially early on or with irregular cycles.

What you can expect from us

  • Dew does what it says: a quiet, private place to track your cycle.
  • Your data stays yours. We never collect, sell, or share it — see the privacy page.
  • No ads, no spam, no dark patterns nudging you to spend or share.
  • If we ever change something that affects you, we tell you in the app first.

What we ask of you

  • Use Dew for yourself, or for people you're caring for with their knowledge.
  • Don't try to break, copy, or resell the app.
  • Keep your device and your iCloud secure — that's where your data lives, and only you can reach it.

Paid features

Core period tracking and the calendar are free, forever. Some features (cloud sync, AI reflections, exports) may be offered as a paid upgrade in a future version. If and when they are, any purchase is handled by Apple, billed through your App Store account, and governed by Apple's standard licensed-app terms. You can manage or cancel any subscription in your iPhone's Settings.

The honest limits

Dew is provided as-is. We build it carefully, but we can't promise it's perfect or that predictions will always be right. Because your data lives only on your device and your iCloud, we can't recover it if you lose your phone and haven't enabled iCloud sync — so back up your device.
