What's new in Dew 1.3.0 — meet You
A girl drawn like you, who knows your days, and tells you what she sees in a few calm words.

Dew 1.3.0 is here. We’ve always wanted Dew to be more than a calendar of your period: a quiet memory of how you feel, kept on your phone. This release gives that memory a face.
Meet You
There’s a new tab called You. On it is a crayon girl, drawn to look like you. Tap any part of her and she tells you what your own days show: not a chart, not a forecast of your feelings, just a few plain words about what has tended to happen.
Tap any part of her
each one is told from your own days, in a few calm words
Mind
how your moods tend to move
Love
closeness, kept private
Cycle
where you are, and what usually comes next
Energy
your stronger days, and the slower ones
Sleep
how your nights have been
Temperature
your own readings, when you log them
Make her you
Give her your look from a photo or a quick face scan. Dew reads it on your phone, draws her to look like you, and lets the photo go. Nothing is saved or sent. There’s a live mirror too: hold up your phone and she copies your face as you move, on your phone only.
How your parts connect
Connections show how one part of you touches another, from your own data: how your sleep and your mood move together, or your cycle and your energy. Only what your days actually show, and only once there’s enough to say it honestly.
Ask her
Ask her things like “Why have I been tired lately?” and she answers from your own days. It’s the question Dew was built to answer one day, and now it can start to.
A letter at each new period
When a new period starts, she writes you a short note about the cycle that just ended, told from your own days.
And a few smaller things
- She carries your day, like a hot-water bottle on cramp days.
- A sprout grows beside her as Dew learns more about you.
- Past you, Your year, and the story of each cycle.
- A green watering can, a new cup for your water.
- Calmer screens: plain paper by default, and a quieter Dear us and page of your own.
- A gentler Garden: the paid features now open a calm, honest page instead of a wall.
Still yours alone
Everything new here lives where everything else in Dew does: on your phone and in your own private iCloud. Your photo and face scan never leave your phone at all. No account, no ads, no Dew server. By design.
If something feels off, or you’d like her to notice something she doesn’t yet, open Dear us in Dew and write to us, or tell us here. Every note gets read.
Common questions
Frequently asked
- Does my photo or face scan leave my phone?
- No. Dew reads your photo or the quick face scan on your phone, turns it into a few drawing choices for the girl, and lets the photo go. Nothing is saved, and nothing is sent anywhere. The live mirror works the same way: it runs on your phone only.
- Does she predict how I'll feel?
- No. She tells you what has tended to happen in your own days, like sleeping less in the days before your period. She never tells you how you're going to feel.
- Where do the answers in Ask her come from?
- From what you've logged in Dew, on your phone. Ask “Why have I been tired lately?” and she looks at your own days for the answer. There is no server and no outside AI reading your data.
- When does the letter arrive?
- When a new period starts. It's a short note about the cycle that just ended, written from your own days.
